A small ticket ties one knot in a migrant worker and the other in his warm home. With the approaching of Spring Festival 2019, going home and reuniting with family members become a common expectation of each migrant worker. During the Spring Festival transportation period this year, Nimble Group rejoined hands with the On the Spot program of public channel of Guangdong Radio and Television Station to carry out the charity event of “Sweet Coach” 2019, returning the migrant workers and students working and studying in Guangdong to the 9 cities including Zhanjiang and Meizhou of Guangdong, and Ganzhou of Jiangxi, and Yulin, Nanning and Hezhou of Guangxi etc. by 16 free coach routes. Over 1300 applications had been received since the launch of the event according to the latest statistics.
“Sweet Coach” won high praise from workers who expressed their great enjoyment of the event
It is learned that the registration of the "Sweet Coach" event this year was officially launched on 30 December, 2018 and ended on 16 January, 2019, for which mobile coaches were sent to the industrial areas and Nimble’s developments in the cities such as Dongguan, Qingyuan, Zhongshan, Zhaoqing and Zengcheng etc., in addition by way of Wechat and telephone registration, to set up local sign up points to facilitate the close consultation and registration for migrant workers.
Workers are consulting details of “Sweet Coach” on site
A few days ago, a "Sweet Coach" was driven into Nimble Dongyue Mansion, one of its developments. Upon setting up the sign up point, it attracted a large number of workers come to consult. Mr. Liu, from Shaoyang, Hunan, had been working alone in Guangdong since 2004 for raising his family of 3 children (though his largest daughter married, the other 2 children are still at school), he said that he had very little time with his children for years due to working outside for a better life, and he felt very sorry to them, so what he hungered most for every year was to go home for the Spring Festival and family reunion.
“I will spare no effort for returning home for the Spring Festival, however much the ticket may cost", said Mr. Liu with no alternative. In fact, most of the workers coming for application and consultation had undergone similar experiences with Mr. Liu. Given the Spring Festival coming soon, it became ever harder for them to grab successfully a ticket, however, they were blessed with the way home by the "Sweet Coach".
It is understood that the “Sweet Coach” 2019 charity event had received enthusiastic responses from the workers in Guangdong with over 1300 applications received since its launch from the end of last year.
